Affiant further states that the said Annias Reedy, her husband served in the
Union Army from August 1862 to July 12, 1865 in Co. A. 126 Reg. Ill. Inft.
And that she was married to said soldier on the 7th day of December A.D.
1865 and lived with him, as his wife, from that day until the day of his
death which was on Dec. 23 1897, when he departed this life near Kirksville,
Moultrie County, Illinois. And that his body is buried in the Camfields
Cemetery.

That afterwards on the 9th of January, the affiant was married to one Samuel
S. McCown by James A. Johnston, Justice of the Peace, and that the said
Samuel S. McCown departed this life March 19, 1929. That said Samuel S.
McCown had previously been married to one Martha Ellen Reedy, who had died
some four years before the marriage of this affiant to the said Samuel S.
McCown. That neither she, the said Samuel S. McCown nor Annias Reedy had
been married otherwise than herein stated.

Affiant further states that she is now 84 years of age, past, that she lived
with the said Samuel S. McCown from the day of their marriage until the day
of his death, that she has no child or children under the age of 16, that
she is a resident of Moultrie County, State of Illinois, where she has
resided everysince (sic) she was about 11 years old.

Affiant hereby makes application to the Pension Department to be plced on
the pension rolls of the U.S. as the widow of Annias Reedy, deceased, that
her second husband rendered no services in the Army. That her post office
address is Sullivan, Moultrie County, Illinois, R.R. 5.

ZT Deeds, age 81 years and W.A. Short, age 78, both residents of Moultrie
County, Illinois, on otath state that they have known the applicant for more
than 60 years, that they know her to be the identical person she represents
herself to be, that they were well acquainted with Annias Reedy in his
lifetime and knew of his death at the time stated in her applications, and
also were well acquainted with Samuel S. McCown and know of his death at the
time statd in her applications, and that the facts stated in her application
are true.
