U.S. Army  --  Texas National Guard
I cannot give you much detal about me or what I do.  I am a Specialist and have been three years in the military.  If you wonder why do soldiers join the military, imagine this...
There is a person about to kill the one you most love (significant-other, some one in your family, parent, sibling, friend, etc.).  If you can protect them, would you?  Do you like to kill people just for fun?  If matters turn to the worst case imaginable, would you kill to protect who you love?
I am an American soldier.  No, I don't like violence.  Just like you would be scared to shoot a weapon at some one, I am as well.  But, I love this country, and I love my girlfriend, my family, my parents, my brothers, my friends.  No, I don't want to die, but I will to protect them.
Thank a Soldier:
If you have a bussiness, don't just display "support our troops."  If you want to support our troops, display the Thank A Soldier flag provided in my briefcase:
http://briefcase.yahoo.com/cero_k00l (click on "Downloads" folder to see sevral files) and offer a Military Discount [NOTE: Because of the meaning of the flag, the blue field has to be displayed towards the entrance from outside, or the exit from inside; i.e. left of entrance, right of exit. for the flag provided, the other side for regular flag].  So, please show this picture if you are offering a Military Discount only.  Let this picture represent that business who truely supports our troops by offering Military Discount.

If you are just an individual, support the Rio Grande Valley's troops ( 3rd Bn. 141 Inf.).  They have been deployed to Afganistan.  Wear the American Hero Band by VirtualArmory.com to show your support.  Hold [shift] and click on either picture of the wrist band to open the American Hero Band form and registration.  Return to register your band to honor our troops.  If you know a Guardsman, you may choose to support that person. Or support our troops by leaving the Soldier's Name blank and enter 3-141 under Unit.  Also, visit our Unit's web site:

Unfortunately, an injury does not permit me to continue serving my country.
Soon to come...
