Originally from Minnesota, I've lived in New Hampshire since I was 11. I had such fun playing on the 12 acres of woods we lived on and traveling the dirt roads on horseback. I wish I could keep doing that, but maybe I'll be able to give my kids the same fun that I had.
Ever since I was about 12 I dreamed of being a writer. I wanted to follow in my father's footsteps. Well, okay, so he didn't write fiction, but he had a book out and wrote numerous articles for classic car related magazines. He was a wonderful inspiration.
Off and on for the next twenty something years of my life I kept writing, not always so seriously because the real world grabbed hold of me and I had to bring home a regular paycheck, but if anyone asked me what I wanted to do when I grew up I'd say (and still say) "I want to be a writer."

I write romance. Always have. Always will. Ever since I picked up my first Harlequin Romance at about the age of 14 I was hooked. I have a few fantasy's that are hanging around awaiting my attention, but everything has a romantic element to it. For the past 3 years I've been sending in various manuscripts for publication but up til just a few weeks ago I've haven't been able to make that break through. I'm extremely pleased to say, though, that I've signed a contract for the sale of one of the very first stories I ever wrote. It's called "Finally Home" and will be published by Whiskey Creek Press in June 2007. The cover is already done and it's absolutely awesome! I began this manuscript when I was 16 and finished it when I was around 37ish. Phew!

I am most proud to say that I've been recently contracted a second book. This one, called "Sweet Forever" will be published sometime next year by Samhain Publishing. I've also just sent off another manuscript to them. I completed "Where One Road Leads", which was my Nano project last year. Will keep this site updated on if that one is lucky too. Or good.

UPDATE
I have a tentative release date for "Sweet Forever". It should be out in April of 2007. And I'm extremely pleased to say that "Where One Road Leads" has also been contracted to Samhain and has a tentative release date of August 2007. I can't believe that I have three books coming out next year!

And November 1st is just over a week away and I'm preparing a new project for National Novel Writing Month. Its entitled Dreamer's Sea and I'm really excited about it. I hope it does as well as WORL.

I'm the proud (and sometimes befuddled) mom of three kids, Paige (15), Megan (9) and Justin (6 going on 26). They are wonderful, patient kids. I've been married for over 10 years now and I learned everything I know about computers from Jim. If it weren't for him my desktop would still be the most expensive deck of cards I could own. I'm not exactly a wizard, but I do okay.
Just in case you're wondering... here I am.
