KAMIYA KAORU
She's the
16 year old master of the Kamiya Kashiin Dojo. Despite the
fact that she's a woman, she's a good swordsman even though
tons of people think she's just a weakling.
As you can
see in the anime, Kaoru has feelings for Kenshin and cares
for him. Kenshin cares for her too. Both of them are not good
in showing their affection to each other so you always get to
see Kaoru tossing tables, tea pots, vases or anything that
she could see around her and aims them on Kenshin. ^^x I
wonder how Kenshin survives though.
SAGARA SANOSUKE
A former
member of the Sekihoutai group but the whole group was killed
in the end. He and Tsunan were the only survivors. Seeing so
many bloody battles since childhood, he became a good
fighter.
He's
approach to Kenshin was to challenge him to a duel. Of
course, we all know that he gets crushed by Kenshin's sword.
But later, they became friends. He always helped Kenshin and
the others in the dojo in times of trouble. He loves to eat,
drink sake and of course, last but not the least, quarrel
with Megumi. ^^
MYOJIN YAHIKO
Has a Samurai bloodline
and first encountered Kenshin when he tried to steal
Kenshin's wallet. He was then adopted by Kaoru and became the
best student of the Kamiya Kashiin Dojo. He often makes Kaoru
mad but despite of that, they became good friends. You can
see that they have a teacher-student, big sister -little
brother relationship. He's very fond of Tsubame who works as
a waitress in the restaurant Akabeko. Sanosuke likes to make
fun of him whenever Tsubame's around and the two end up
fighting with each other like cats and dogs.
TAKANI MEGUMI
A member of the Aizu
Takanis, which is a famous family of doctors. She was the
only survivor in her family when she lost them when their
house got burned. She's not a swordsman like Kaoru but a
skilled woman doctor in the Tokyo area. She's also
emotionally strong and tends to give Kaoru a slap on the face
when she mopes around because Kenshin's away and stuffs like
that. She's like a big sister to Kaoru if you ask me.
She's quite popular
since many guys fall head over heels for a pretty woman
doctor like her. A rival of Kaoru-chan. She loves to flirt
with Kenshin and tries to grab his attention from Kaoru. Also
known as a fox woman (that's what Sano calls her), she loves
to have quarrel with the rooster head Sanosuke. They look
cute together when they quarrel. ^^
