| VesVes is named after the third largest asteroid in the asteroid belt, Vesta. In Greek/Roman Mythology: Vesta was also known as Hestia, the goddess of the hearth and home. She was worshipped in the form of an eternal fire, opposed to a statue. This shows up in her personality, as well as the fact that VesVes always wears red. The connection with fire obviously makes her the counterpart of Sailor Mars. VesVes carries the red cue. Hers is also made from Amazonite. In the Manga, VesVes becomes Sailor Vesta, one of the Asteroid Senshi, and a protector of Sailor Chibi Moon. |
