| CereCere's Mythology |
| CereCere is named after the largest asteroid in the asteroid belt; Ceres. In Greek/Roman Mythology: Ceres was the goddess of the harvest and the Earth. She also stood for unconditional love and nuturing support in both women and men. Images of Ceres usually has flowers, which explains her attachment to plant and flowers. CereCere is Sailor Venus' counterpart, so it's only right that Ceres was also a guardian of love and caring, as the goddess Venus was. CereCere carries a yellow ball. There is a stone called Amazonite, which can be found in many places in the world. This is most likely where Naoko got the idea for our Amazoness stones. In the manga, CereCere becomes Sailor Ceres, one of the Asteroid Senshi, and a protector of Sailor Chibi Moon. |
