Chapter 11: Torment Struggle.
Niwa Daisuke muffled out a light yawn as he wrapped his slender arms around his small lithe figure, staying huddled against the wall in order to drape warmth for himself. The cold night breeze wasn't helping him a single bit, thus making him shiver slightly due to the occasional strong wind, which blew past him mercilessly. With nuzzled its master's side before leaping onto Daisuke's head, settling itself using the child's vivid blood red strands to cover its white fluffy body. They had been in silence for quite some time now because the peaceful surrounding was tempting Daisuke to doze off at any moment, but thanks to the help of Dark Mousy's sudden mental yells, the poor redhead couldn't bring himself to sleep in the end.
As his ruby red eyes gazed into the dark sky above him, he sighed inwardly upon his fate, but as his mind was about to linger off into the wondering void, Daisuke suddenly felt a familiar presence and the faint voice of someone calling out to him.
"Hiwatari-kun?", Daisuke immediately stood up from his position with a startled expression on his adorable face. With squealed in surprise as it nearly lost its balance from its master's head for it almost toppled off without the slightest bit of grace intended. Dark noticed the sudden reaction his host presented out of the blue and didn't hesitate to ask the purpose of him doing so without a define warning.
\\ Oi, Daisuke. What's with the sudden alarm? \\
"I can hear him...Calling me...", the red-haired teenager's voice trailed off as he gazed towards the area in which he thought he heard Hiwatari Satoshi's voice a moment ago. Silent ruby red orbs studied the particular area from his point of view for a while before he started to take light steps towards it without saying a word after that.
\\ Daisuke, if you're thinking what I'm thinking, then don't do it. \\
But, unfortunately for the violet-eyed thief, Daisuke was rather deep in his determination that he totally ignored his alter ego's cry. His slow pace slowly turned into a frequent dash as he hurried over to where he was sure that Satoshi was. His little white pet stumbled from its position onto the cold bare floor, yet With scurried up to its feet again and raced after its master in concern.
\\ Daisuke! I said don't go there! \\
"Kyu!", With's worried squeal echoed through the area as it followed Daisuke's trail. The red-haired teenager didn't pause to look back or even bother on the cold wind now that he was abruptly on a race against time.
Another familiar sound of the huge clock's hands ticked its way to a quarter of its face, revealing the current time with a loud 'Ding Dong!' indicating that they only had not more than approximately fourty-five minutes left to rescue true love.

"Heaven forbids!", a practically unfamiliar voice startled a certain blue-haired figure who whirled around just in the neck of time to witness a stranger shadow walk right through him along with a few more figures. Realizing that he was invincible to them, he'd must be drowned in his own dream perhaps. Satoshi continued to listen in on their conversations with a hint of interest started to build up within him.
"That particular relationship between a Hikari and a Niwa...A disgrace!", cold icy blue orbs glared levelly at the group right before him upon the remark one of them just spat out. He couldn't believe he was facing such an insulting remark without having the power to do anything about it in protest.
"Damn, who does this bastard think he is anyway?", Satoshi let his mind curse inwardly on the outcome.
"More like a disaster. Hadn't they given the thought of what would happen to their shadows? The confidential legend...", Satoshi heard one of them complied in a much more calmer tone and judging by the way the person's voice reacted, he'd must've been the wiser one of the group; whatever they were anyway.
"What is to become of the legend's bloodline?", that question brought Satoshi's attention closer as he'd got the chance to understand more on the legend of Dark Mousy better than he'd knew before.
"Dark-sama will be sealed by love.", Satoshi proceeded listening as they slowly started to get to the serious part.
"But, if Dark-sama gets sealed, only the next Niwa generation could revive the legendary phantom!", he heard another whine coming. Ignoring the annoying remark, he continued to listen with full interest by now.
"But, what if there's no Niwa legacy left to begin with?", that question left Satoshi clueless and speechless for he hadn't really though of how serious his relationship with Daisuke could get as far as that. It sounds like the consequences of falling in love with the redhead seemed even more serious than he could imagine.
"Dark...Krad...Will...", Satoshi was at the brick of curiosity. The man's voice trailed off towards the end, which left the blue-haired teenager with all sorts of questions whirling inside his head, waiting to be answered.
"Will...?", icy cold orbs stared hard at the figures before him in order to emit the answer he seek.
"They will...", the same voice trailed off once again, almost irritating Satoshi, but yet, he deprived his emotions aside for the time being.
"Will what?", before Satoshi knew it, his surrounding blurred and finally blacked out, leaving him as clueless as before.

"Wake up, Hiwatari Satoshi-sama.", a certain white-winged fallen angel interrupted his host's daze as he resumed staring above the particular area, like an eagle waiting patiently for its prey to appear into the picture. The wind surrounding his slim, yet graceful figure blew against his long golden ponytail, which had a cross located on the near end. His majestic white wings spread wide behind his steady back. Satoshi's former body looked as if it still reeked of fresh blood due to the impact he's received earlier before he transformed into Krad, but not like the homicidal blonde bothered anyway.
/ The hell...? /
"Forgive me for providing you such an uncalled greeting, but I honestly don't recall memorable hallucinations to be trustworthy myself.", the man apologized as he narrowed his eyes a little disturbed on the dream Satoshi just ventured into a moment ago, although he tried not to show his disappointment that clearly.
/ That was a dream...? /
"Correction, my pet. Those were dialogues of the past.", Krad replied in a matter-of-factly tone as his free hand snaked its way to his hair, lightly running his long slender fingers through the delicate golden strands in amusement. The moon high above him traced the perfect angle of his body within its tender ray.
/ And you interrupted it without shame. I figured you'd be way too glorious for a simple fact? /
"I'm far superior than how you judge me, my pet.", he answered with a sadistic smile, much to Satoshi's annoyance.
/ I'd doubt that. What is it that you demand so much, Krad? /
"My dear pet...We've discussed over this issue quite a number of times, haven't we?", Krad let out an inward sigh upon his host's innocence which never ceases to amuse him in any way possible. He could also feel Satoshi's anger at the same time, yet didn't show any signs of enthusiasm.
/ You're practically making the situation worse! /
"Isn't that the purpose of my existence?", the homicidal blonde cocked an eyebrow at Satoshi's response. Krad shrugged lightly and smiled to himself seeing that the blue-haired teenager took quite a while before he decided to reply his other half.
/ You're sick... /
"Why, thank you, my pet. Such an exclusive compliment.", the blonde brandished a smile in satisfaction.
/ I don't compliment on the likes of you. /
"Whatever the case is, you belong to me, my pet; no one else. That is why I hunt down those who'd tend to get a little too close to you. In fact, I kill those you love and treasure dearly. What do you think? Love would be no match against sacrifice and death.", Krad explained in an ever-so-politely manner as he dug his hands deep within Satoshi's jeans pockets, letting the night's breeze blowing against his soft golden hair. He noticed that Satoshi fell silent once again and didn't mind the blue-haired teenager's quiet response for he was waiting for someone to come into view himself.
"And the eagle targets its prey.", a pair of his sharp golden eyes caught the sight of a certain small figure making his way across the runned down area. Krad let out a chuckle in amusement as he witnessed Daisuke glancing all around him in search of something he missed.
Or someone he missed, to be precise.
/ Daisuke! /
"Let the game begin.", spreading his pair of incredulous heavenly white wings behind his back, Krad rose up into the cold night air, ready to present some twisted action as his eyes didn't leave the particular red-haired teenager below him who still hadn't notice of his dangerous existence.
