Pieces on this page are much shorter than those on my other pages. I wrote all of these myself and they stand alone. Since they aren't serial in nature, this page will be updated on a less frequent basis than the others. Stay tuned to my update notes on the main stories page for notification of new additions.
Angel in Disguise - I wrote this piece as a surprise for a friend when her daughter had her first baby. It isn't a coincidence that the baby in the story and the new grandchild share the same name.
The Escape - I admit to hearing a similar story back in an eighth grade english class. The idea has stuck with me for such a long time that I finally put my own version to paper. I hope you like it.
Defenders - I have no idea where the idea for this came from. Are monopolists evil warlords? You decide!
Stress - I got very angry at someone at work one day who absolutely refused to work with in established protocols. This was the result. Beware of stress...it's a killer.
