| Hiya! Welcome to Seat of My Soul let me tell you something about myself. I am a 30 year old female, who resides in NY. I am a part time student at NYC. Technical College, majoring in Human Services. I enjoy a good book, music, the arts and writing spiritual poems/psalms. I also enjoy going to church...yes you can have fun in church :) I created this page for my poems. I have been blessed with this talent and I would like to share it and bless others with it. I started writing poems in junior high school. My poems are a reflection of me- they convey my emotions, my trials and tribulations. Now your probably wondering why I would write about my trials and tribulations-something so personal. I know you have heard this phrase before ....but I'm going to say it anyway ! "behind every dark cloud, there's a silver lining". This is why they are basically psalms; a praise to God, a thank you. I also get my inspiration from situations and circumstances. It doesn't have to be my personal experience, it could be any, and of course from the Word of God...yes mainly the psalms. God has been a great factor in my life, he has delivered me from many perils, how can I not praise him for what he has done. |
