Final Recording!
Don't try to download the videos, they took up too much space so they're gone. =)
We all gathered in front of KFC at around 2:45...except for Tom, whom, trying to be smart, told us to get there around 2:45 and he himself gets there 5 before 3. good job tom! anyways, we get up to the studio, start settin up drums and stuff.
As tom helps rob, he asks a stupid question, typical of tom.
We all eventually decide on the tempo and how it goes (ask one of us sometime, it's a crazy process that took a good 2 hours) and soon enough we were on our way. yay. in the next pictures we see rob staring at shea confusedly and rob doing what he does best...which is...um....nevermind.
While we wait for everything to work out for rob, tom fiddles on shea's guitar. To help rob out a little and make sure he's in the right place (cuz we didn't let him play with piano and guitar...) james sang along and while he sang along he realized that he ... click to go figure. It's pretty funny when james sings without tom and shea.
After everything is done with rob, we cheat the system by editing his beats and everything. =) yesyes i know it almost seems liek we're so perfect and we never get off beat and everything....but actually...you should relaly check out how much we fwacked up in the first recording! i'll release it on mp3 on this website when we get it!...anywayz...so everything was on beat...for once hahah.
then all information regarding tom's recording and shea's recording is lost int he process. =). we just have this one picture taken while shea was recording:
Disturbing. either way, afterwards, james sings and we have a lot of stuff on that =) such as...the chorus, the second verse and a picture of tom while he listens to james' pretty voice!
After james sings his voice away, he sings through his guitar. tom catches one attempt james takes at his solo. i'ts not really the real thing...although it's pretty close. you'll see the difference when the CD comes out =) The solo is a very tiring part for james as we can see here...
After we cleaned the clutter off the table...
...Shea celebrates a bit and Cephas left the studio smiling..=) outside of KFC afterwards, Cephas contemplated its next moves on future performances...more details soon to come =)
