| The arrival of Dr Simona Ciccero changes many things at the HBR. |
| This page is devoted to my attachment at the Harris Birthright Research Centre of Fetal Medicine at King's College Hospital (HBR) where I gained my first clinical experience since my move from Greece to Britain. The periods I worked at the HBR where from July 1997 - December 1997 (6 months), March 1998 - April 1998 (2 months), October 1998 - March 1999 (4 months but only part-time) and January 2001 - April 2001 (4 months / part-time). I also visited the unit between October 2002 until December 2002 (3 months) but only once a fortnight or so. In total I spent (full-time or part time) 19 months working or visiting the HBR during which time I made good friends and learned alot (often the hard way). Although I cannot say whether my HBR experience was an overall positive or negative one what's for sure is that it was one of the most important in my life that shaped my character and equipped me with many attributes of my current personality.
