Fifteen hours
This skeleton is all that remains of a healthy Cape Buffalo that was literally Devoured in 15 Hours. Successions of hungry animals are fed by a lion kill. After the lions the hyenas feed, they are followed by the jackals and the vultures. Only tiny bits are left for the yellow tailed kites pictured. Kwara, Botswana.

Hunt of Hunger Hunt of Hunger captures a wild dog in search of his next meal. This dog was one of a pack of three. With small numbers they had a tough season and had lost their entire litter of pups. This evening however the hunt was successful and the three had their fill of Imapala. Kwara, Botswana.
Island Life In the heat of the Zambian day and with severe drought conditions on the main land only the bull elephants are able to swim the river to reach the lush grasses and enjoy the Island Life. Lower Zambezi, Zambia.
Standing Puppy As a pack of 24 these puppies were in good shape. Just waking up from nap Standing Puppy is ready for a round of play. With a litter of 11 puppies it was rough and tumble. There are fewer than 5000 of these wild dogs left in all of Africa. Lagoon camp, Botswana
