Our time together went by like a child's summer day.
I blinked my eyes, and you were gone.
Like nights darkness at the break of dawn.
Now the radio plays our old song,
I can't keep up with the falling tears,
As my heart realizes its worst fears.
Lying here whispering your name,
Hoping you come back again.
But you're far away with someone new.
I'm still here with a broken heart,
Trying to get over you.
If I had one wish that could be true,
I wish we could be happy together forever,
Just me and you.
