Congratulations to the new officers for the 2008-2009 fiscal year! Our newly elected leaders are:

A special congrats to our Brother of the Year, Kristin Watts, who gets her yearly dues waived!
Our chapter is participating in several service activities this year. Treasurer June Cookson is collecting travel-sized toiletries (soaps, shampoos, lotions, conditioners) to donate to a local women's shelter. Please give her any unused toiletries for us to donate.
June is also collecting aluminum tabs from the tops of soda, soup and beverage cans. The Northern Province turns these in for money, which is donated to the Fraternity. Please save these tabs and give them to June.
At our October 13th dinner meeting, we will be collecting canned goods for the Central Virginia Food Bank. Remember to bring your canned goods to the meeting!
The Virginia state Deltasig pins are available for $5.00 each, plus shipping and handling (if applicable). We will offer these at local events and will also allow local chapters to sell these on our behalf (we will give them $1.00 commission). If you are interested in purchasing some pins, please contact John Cookson. A picture of the pin is below (the background of the pin is white).
