The Languages Department of Central Technology College is a very dynamic department. The languages taught are French and German. All pupils start French in Year 7 and German in Year 8.
It is located in the B Block. There are 4 rooms in the department and a small office.

On the walls of the teaching rooms, you can see some posters which help students to remember some pieces of vocabulary or to understand the teacher's classroom directions in the target language.
On this picture you can also see some example of work in German from year 10 and11 students (a brochure about Grantham in English and some posters about the environment). |

In addition to maps and educational posters, there are many colourful posters created by students on the walls of all languages rooms.

Of course, there are also other rooms which can be accessed by classes learning languages: the school's library and the computer rooms. |
|
|
|
There are several computer suites at Central Technology College.
The rooms can be booked for a whole class and interactive language lessons can take place in this modern environment. |
