[Fade up]
[The scene opens up backstage where the fans quickly pick up "The Loose Cannon" Ripper Longshanks standing outside the Darkness dressing room. The leader of the Darkness appears to be lost in thought and doesn't see the figure of Robert Marshall approaching him until Marshall makes his presence known by coughing. Ripper looks up and immediately the shark grin falls into place]
[RIPPER]: And what do you want Marshall.
[Marshall looks into the face of The Loose Cannon and hesitates before speaking. Ripper shakes his head and growls]
[RIPPER]: Spit it out Robbie, I have to get ready to go to ringside with Loki.
[MARSHALL]: That's what I want to talk to you about. [Mashall clears his throat] Wright has requested that you not be at ringside on the chance that you will interfere and cost him the match. And I am inclined to go with that.
[Ripper's eys widen in anger and he starts to bring his hand up towards Marshall but quickly stops. Taking a deep breath Ripper lowers his face unti it is inches away from Marshall's and speaks in a harsh low tone.]
[RIPPER]: Good to see you finally grew a set Robbie. But you know what I am still going to be there. Yeah I'll follow your little banned from ringside stipulation [pauses] but I'll be standing at the top of the ramp making sure that no one gets any ideas and tries some bullshit. UNDERSTAND!!
[Marshall takes a step back but continues to look at Ripper. A small smile forms on his lips]
[MARSHALL]: That's fine Ripper. You do what you have to do, but if you go to ringside for any reason Loki will be disqualified. Is that clear.....
[Without waiting for Ripper to reply Marshall spins and around and stomps back to his office. Ripper follows Marshall's progress with narrowed eyes and the shark grin.]
[RIPPER]: Only one problem Marshall that little order doesn't include Taranis or Black...........
[Before Ripper can finish a backstage technician walks up to Ripper and interrupts.]
[TECHIE]: Ummmmmmmm...excuse me Ripper but I was wondering if you could sign this petition to have Mace be the first inductee into the Central States Wrestling Hall of Fame.
[Without waiting for an answer the technician thrusts a clipboard into Ripper's hand followed by a pen. The technician then grins at The Loose Cannon and waits for him to sign the petition. Ripper looks at the clip board then at the technician. The shark grin slips from Ripper's face and is replaced with a emotionless expression. The technician not sensing the danger presses the issue.]
[TECHIE]: Well? You know if you sign it the rest of the wrestlers will follow.
[Without warning Ripper brings the clip board up and smashes it across the head of the technician. A moment later Ripper sends the technician flying into the far wall where he unceremoniously bounces off it and slides to the floor. Ripper takes a step forward crouches down and talks to the stunned techie.]
[RIPPER]:The answer is no shitbird. Mace's name sholdn't be even mentioned in the CSWA again let alone be considered to be the first person elected into the CSWA wrestling Hall of Fame. Mace walked out of the CSWA at the first sign of him slipping from the top. He's a damn coward and an idiot and as far as I am concerned the damn Bronx Big Bust should have his name scratched from the CAL records for his complete lack of wrestling ability. [
Ripper grabs the techie by the hair and turns his head so he can look Ripper in the eyes]
[RIPPER]: So go take your petition and shove it up your ass.
[With that said Ripper stands up spins around and knocks on the Darkness dressing room door. A moment later Loki appears. Taking a step out the Norseman spots the downed technician and raises an eyebrow towards his mentor. Ripper shrugs but the shark grins quickly comes to his face.]
[RIPPER]: He fell..................
[Fade to Page and McCoy]
[PAGE]: What is with this hatred that Ripper has for Mace. Can anyone tell me.
[MCCOY]: It's pretty simple Eddie. Mace is a quitter and Ripper doesn't like them Can't say I blame him. And if that damn moron asks me to sign that petition I'll do more than crack it over his head.
[Page rolls his eyes]
[PAGE]: And on that note folks we will be back with our Main Event, Loki minus Ripper against Chris Wright for the Great Plains Title.
