[There is a knock at Robert Marshall’s door, and he stops looks up and at the door as if to wait for someone to barge in.]

[MARSHALL]: About time someone showed some courtesy around here and don’t come storming in. COME IN.

[The door opens up and Chris Wright walks through it, the Great Plains Title resting on his right shoulder, and he’s already in his wrestling shorts with a t-shirt that says “I’ll school your ass”.]

[CHRIS WRIGHT]: Well good evening Mr. Marshall. How are you today?

[MARSHALL]: I’m doing fine Chris, thanks for asking. What can I do for?

[Chris walks across the carpet and comes to a stop before Marshall’s desk and then he lays the title down on top of it.]

[WRIGHT]: I’ve got a little problem Robert. It concerns my match tonight. I’m fighting Loki tonight which is no big deal for me, I’ll kick his ass. What concerns me is that bastard Ripper Longshanks being at ringside. Because you and I both know the moment I turn my back he’s gonna be all over me and Loki will be in the ring keeping the ref distracted. And I’m sorry, but Jen can’t watch my back with this match.

[MARSHALL]: I understand your point Chris, but there’s nothing I can do about it.

[WRIGHT]: Oh yes there is Mr. Marshall. I want you to ban Riper and the rest of the Darkness from ringside. Tell them that if any of them show their rat faces down beside that ring, Loki gets disqualified. You can do that.

[Marshall sits back in his chair and steeples his fingers in front of his face as he thinks for a moment.]

[MARSHALL]: I can’t do that Chris, your just gonna have to watch yourself.

[Chris puts his hands down on top of the Great Plains Title and leans forward a bit as if to intimidate Marshall, but Marshall doesn’t seem impressed].

[WRIGHT]: Look we have two ways of doing this. Either you ban them from ringside, or I walk down that ramp, enter the ring and then as soon as the match starts, I roll out, get counted out and walk away with the title. And you and I both know I’ll do it too. Do you think that would make the fans here and at home happy campers? I’m pretty sure it wouldn’t. So I’m leaving the ball in your court Robert. Have a good night.

[Chris grabs the title and walks out of the office, the title thrown over one shoulder as Robert Marshall watches him go].
