[Fade Up]
[Camera comes to life with a shot of Robert Marshall and Tony "The Mouth" Mastino standing backstage. Both men have perplexed looks on their faces and Marshall in particular looks like he is about ready to explode. In Marshall's right hand he holds a partially crumpled up piece of paper, his left hand envelopes a small cell phone. Without looking he tosses the piece of paper over his shoulder, nearly hitting a passing tech as it soars towards the floor.]
[MARSHALL]: YOU HAVE GOT TO BE JOKING! I booked the Kemper Arena months ago and now those damn pricks are up and changing things because it suits their sensibilities better. SCREW THEM, I'll just go find another place to hold the damn Pay Per View. Let them stew as some other venue rakes in the cash with End Of Days.
[Mastino says nothing throughout Marshall tirade preferring to let him finish up before saying his piece]
[MASTINO]: Slow down for a second boss and think this through. This can actually work out better for us in the long run. We have the Coalition Tag Team Champions coming in here for the next couple weeks {Mastino checks his clipboard] Yeah from April second to the fifteenth. That works out perfect. Then we can give the boys a bit of a rest, hype the pay per view up the wazoo then have it take place on the twenty seventh of April like the morons at the Kemper Arena want.
[Marshall squints as he thinks over what Mastino has just run by him. Marshall nods several times then slaps Mastino on the shoulder.]
[MARSHALL]: Hell we get to have our cake and eat it too. I like that idea. [Mastino chuckles at the comment] Now Tony who shall be the team that faces the SeXellence. [A pause] The Authority [The crowd roars at the name] NO! They just don't deserve it. They should of won that damn NPW tournament and I won't hand them the chance at more glory. Well..........I guess it will have to be the [another pause] Whiskey Devils.
[A collective gasp goes up from the crowd who were expecting Marshall to announce The Darkness as the team to face the CAL Tag Champs.]
[MASTINO]:Good choice. Although I can't stand that pompous jackass Lancaster anymore than you he has been making the CSWA look good so he deserves the chance.
[MARSHALL]Let's just hope he doesn't win or he will be more unbearable than normal
[Scene fades back to McCoy and Page who have stunned expressions on their faces. Page turns to the camera and starts speaking]
[PAGE]: What a turn of events folks. The Whiskey Devils get the shot at the CAL Tag Champs coming up and we have found out the name of the CSWA's first ever Pay Per View and where it will be held.
[MCCOY] I love it the Authority get snookered out of a CAL title shot. Serves them morons right for showing up Marshall.
[PAGE]: Not sure that is fair but it's Marshall fed and he can do what he wants. We will be right back folks.
