[The area lights go out as "The Wave" by Herbert Groenemeyer starts playing. After the first verse finishes, a strobe light comes on at the top of the main ramp, revealing a cloud of fog obscuring the entrance, with Jonathan Laslow nowhere to be seen. The next two verses pass with still no sign of the wrestler. The crowd starts to murmur, wondering where the wrestler is. Then, a pin-light shines into the crowd, and stops on one man.]

###Loading rocks into their purses###
###They will lay in wait for you###
###Cover you in spit and curses###
###It's your worst fears coming true###

[Jonathan Laslow stands up and starts wading through the throng of people, getting a mixed reaction from the masses.]

###Newspapers will pull apart###
###The poor excuses you gave###
###A million fans with broken hearts###
###Their tears will rain down on my grave###

[Laslow, with the pin-light still on him, reaches the ring and grabs a microphone and a random woman from the front row, and then starts singing along to the chorus while staring in to her eyes.]

###Your life will be hell from now on,###
###Like a wave they'll be coming at ya###
###In an angry human sea###
###A quick one upon your hotel room floor###
###Is all I'm wanting you for###
###Cost you too much to reject me###

[Laslow drops the woman to the side, and the music fades, with the lights suddenly coming back up. The crowd savagely boos him as he climbs in to the ring.]

[The lights suddenly black out throughout the arena and the arena bursts out into a standing ovation as "Just Go" by Staind explodes through the PA system as this can mean the arrival of only one man: The Hawk is back.]

#I'm kind of numb...#
#It's so distorted...#
#You left me here with#
#This damage that you've caused.# #My tortured faces...#
#Those fucked up places...#
#In my memory#
#None of them are lost...#

[As the music plays and a blue spotlight hits the stage, Nighthawk steps out onto the rampway and the crowd roars even as the camera pans over several signs reading "NIGHTHAWK IS A MURDERER." The Reign of Pain is dressed in his usual wrestling gear of black athletic shoes, black jeans, a black jersey with a silver hawk on the front, and white and black leather workout gloves. He wears the usual black leather jacket and mirrored sunglasses cover his eyes while a black 'Reign of Pain' baseball hat covers his head. He takes a moment on the stage to look out at the crowd before slowly walking to the ring as Walsh makes the official announcement.]

[LOU WALSH]: His Opponent....from Detroit, Michigan...weighing 234 lbs...NIGHTHAWK!!!!!

#BUT....#
#I haven't been here long enough to know.#
#Everytime I feel this, I just lose control.#
#Such a cancer on the face of everything that's beautiful,#
#I wish that this would just go...#
#GO!#

[Nighthawk rolls into the ring and scales the buckles as Laslow rolls to the outside. Nighthawk sheads his coat from the top rope and throws it down at Laslow's head, pointing at him as he does so and beckoning him into the ring. He then hops down and takes off the hat and sunglasses, handing them to a ringside attendent.]

#It's kind of sick...#
#I feel so dirty...#
#Kind of tragic...#
#Kind of insecure...#

EDDIE PAGE: He looks great, doesn't he? He looks to be in phenominal shape...possibly the best of his career.

RUSS MCCOY: I've never liked the guy and he associates with cheaters, but even I have to admit that this guy is as dangerous as they come and he can get it done in the ring. I still think he's outmatched by Laslow though...

[The music finally fades and the lights return to normal as the bell rings to start the match.]

[As soon as the bell rings, Laslow charges at Hawk, fists flying. Hawk gets on the defence, but is easily staggered by the charging Laslow.]

[PAGE] Nighthawk got too defensive on that one, and gave Laslow the early advantage.

[Laslow capitalises on his advantage, as he Irish Whips Hawk across the ring, Laslow leaps up for a missile dropkick, but Hawk manages to hook the ropes, and stop himself, causing Lawlow to hit nothing but air.]

[PAGE] A big miss by Laslow there, but Hawk looks cautious in how to approach Laslow. Perhaps a bit of ring rust showing there?

[Laslow kips up to his feet, and charges at Hawk again. This time however Hawk is ready for him. He sidesteps the charging Laslow, and brings him down with a drop toehold, that sends Laslow neck first across the ropes. Laslow rebounds and falls to the mat. Hawk climbs on top of Laslow and begins firing monkey punches into the side of Laslow's head. After a few punches though, he stops and backs up, giving Laslow enough time to recover, and get up.]

[PAGE] Hawk lets up on Laslow. That could prove to be a huge mistake.

[MCCOY] Hawk just doesn't have the guts anymore to finish what he starts. Ever since he lost to that punk Mace, he hasn't been the same.

[PAGE] Can't blame Hawk for losing to the man who in a week could be the CAL champion.

[MCCOY] Think Tank Turner should still be champ if you ask me. That was a man with vision.

[In the ring, Laslow and Hawk, tie up in a collar elbow lock up. Laslow knees Hawk, in the midsection, and turns into a headlock, then running slams Hawk to the mat with a bulldog. He goes for a Boston crab, but Hawk quickly scampers out of it, and rolls to the outside.]

[PAGE] Hawk obviously still a little rattled.

[MCCOY] What happened to the Hawk that once hung Mace from a cage?

[Hawk takes a quick second to gather himself, and then rolls back into the ring. Laslow was waiting for him, and as soon as Hawk is under the ropes, the British Columbia native begins stomping away at Nighthawk. Nighthawk manages to grab the rope, and Referee Barry Alexander pulls Laslow away giving Hawk a chance to rise to his feet. As soon as he's up, Laslow charges in with a clothesline attempt. Hawk ducks it though, and counters with sleeper hold. He drags Laslow to the middle of the ring. Barry Alexander asks Laslow if he wants to give up. Laslow yells No. Suddenly a look of terror comes across Hawk's face and he lets go of the sleeper, and backs up. Laslow takes a second to recover, then kicks Hawk in the midsection, and plants him with a DDT.]

[PAGE] I don't know why Hawk would release that hold; he had Laslow in the centre of the ring. Now Laslow is taking advantage of Hawk's mistake and going upstairs.

[MCCOY] Fly Laslow Fly!

[And fly Laslow does, connecting with a flying headbutt right into the ribs of Nighthawk. Both men squirm around on the mat for a while, but Laslow manages to get to his feet first. He grabs Hawk by the hair and drags him to his feet. Another kick to the midsection doubles Hawk over, leading to a gutwrench suplex from Laslow. Laslow goes for the pin. Alexander drops to make the count.]

[ONE...

[TWO...

[THR...

[PAGE] Nighthawk manages to kick out there, but unless he gets his head in the game, it looks like it might be all over for him.

[MCCOY] The sooner the better.

[Laslow again picks Hawk up by the hair, and Irish Whips him against the far ropes. Laslow bends over for a back body drop, but Hawk was fast, and managed to baseball slide under the bottom rope. After a few seconds Laslow realises what has happened. He sees Mr. Dude, making his way over to Nighthawk, so he grabs Barry Alexander and spins him away from Hawk, and begins to argue with him over a slow count.]

[PAGE] What's Laslow doing?

[MCCOY] Alexander slow counted; Laslow is just voicing his opinion.

[On the outside, Hawk doesn't see Mr. Dude coming, until it's too late, and Dude connects with a hard clothesline. He immediately begins stomping away at Hawk. Kick after kick connects with Hawk's chest.]

[PAGE] Someone stop this. It's just not right.

[MCCOY] Shut up Eddie, this is great.

[Suddenly though, Hawk grabs Dude's foot and twists it, causing Dude to lose his balance and fall over beside Hawk. Both men get to their feet, and as Dude charges at Hawk, he is met with a drop toehold that bounces his head off the ring apron. Inside the ring, Laslow sees this, and he pushes Alexander to the side, and charges.]

[MCCOY] Here comes Laslow.

[Laslow launches himself over the top rope with a suicida, but Hawk saw it coming all the way, and manages to sidestep it, and Laslow lands on the prone body of Mr. Dude.]

[PAGE] There goes Laslow.

[Hawk grabs Laslow and rolls him into the ring. Hawk hauls Laslow to his feet, and drops him quickly with a snap DDT. Not letting up he drags Laslow up again, and sets him up for...]

[PAGE] THE SONIC BOOM. THE SONIC BOOM. NIGHTHAWK SETTING UP FOR THE SONICE BOOM!

[But Hawk changes his mind at the last second, and goes for a suplex, which Laslow blocks with his leg. Hawk tries again, but again Laslow stops it. Suddenly Laslow reverses it and lifts Hawk up into the air in the suplex position. Suddenly Laslow changes momentum, and drops Hawk with a Brainbuster.]

[PAGE] LUFTWAFFEN! LUFTWAFFEN! Laslow just caught Hawk off guard with that suplex into a brainbuster.

[Laslow drops for the pin.]

[ONE...

[TWO...

[THREE!!]

[PAGE] It's over. Jonathon Laslow has beat Nighthawk in what many will call an upset.

[MCCOY] Upset? Laslow is the better man, and he just proved that here!

[PAGE] Something was proved here today, I'm just not sure what, yet. Stay tuned folks there's still a lot more action planned as Wildfire will continue after these messages.

[Fade to a commercial for the Reindeer Games II DVD, featuring Jaime McNulty, Psycho Steve, Sam Carnage, and Think Tank Turner.]
