Things started out immediately in this match up for Authority versus the Darkness and Adam-X�s Road to Redemption during the commercial break. The referee had just cleared out the Axis out of the ring along with Nighthawk and Mullroix. Suddenly Blackwell came down from the ramp and began attacking Adam-X brutally with a bull rope as he was leaving the ring. The referee ran from the back and signaled the bell to ring amongst the boos in the arena. The match stayed in Blackwell�s hands pretty much throughout the entire beginning of the match. Adam-X was tired from the tag match already and the strength of Blackwell was too much to counter. Adam-X managed to mount a comeback halfway through nailing a desperation screwdriver on Blackwell after blocking a vertical suplex.
Adam-X stayed in control for a few minutes alternating with technical and high risk high flying moves to keep Blackwell guessing and on the ground. Adam-X left the ring and grabbed the chair from the timekeeper, placing it on a fallen Blackwell�s face. Adam-X lept into the air with a somersault leg drop but Blackwell countered by throwing the chair into Adam-X. Blackwell again took control by methodically and brutally wearing Adam down with power moves and with that bull rope. Adam-X managed to stay in the match when several times it looked like he was completely knocked out. Adam-X managed counter a maneuver from Blackwell and took the bull rope from him. Adam-X then took to the air, using the rope to Clothesline Blackwell with it while flipping behind him to hit a reverse neckbreaker on him still using the rope. Adam-X went for the X-Peirence to put him in control but Blackwell stunned the crowd by leaping up and catching Adam-X mid air where he then turned the reversal into the Blackjack Driver.
Blackwell, still groggy from the neckbreaker grabbed the chair up as Adam-X struggled to his feet, exhausted and battered. Blackwell ran at Adam-X connecting with the chair hard to the back of Adam�s head. The two men spilled over the ring ropes onto the floor, with Adam-X cut badly and bleeding even worse from the back of the head. Blackwell landing on top of Adam-X as the fell. After a few tense seconds, Blackwell stood up to look into the ring, his face covered in Adam-X�s blood. The referee saw the blood and called for the bell giving the match to Adam-X.
Blackwell was furious considering he wasn�t cut. Blackwell raced into the ring leveled the referee with punches. Blackwell turned around to get leveled with a bulldog from a crimson-faced Adam-X. Adam-X began punching Blackwell hard with closed right hands to the face. Suddenly through the opening of the stage, Jack Cross stormed to the ring with Ripper right behind him. Adam-X grabbed the chair up and swung, hitting Cross and almost nailing Ripper as Ripper pulled Blackwell out of the ring. The crowd�s cheers suddenly went to boo�s as a figure jumped into the ring from the crowd. Adam-X turned to see Shawn Andrews standing behind him. Shawn kicked the already battered Adam-X in the stomach and grabbed him up, delivering a FBD. Adam-X crumpled in the ring, blood covering the superstar�s head. Ripper, Blackwell, and Cross were in the ring delivering a beating to Adam-X when the crowd roared. Through the entrance, Jeff Kushner ran down the ramp, jumping on the ropes and slingshoting himself onto the Darkness with a cross body. Constantine, Napalm and Mace were right behind him as they entered into the ring to join the fun. The referee�s had come down to break things up as the Darkness slide out of the ring, smiling on their way back to the stage.
