Happy Holidays to all alumni. To the class of "84" remenber all the Christmas and Holidays we celebrated as a class. No one can ever take those memories away. When my mother passed away three weeks before Christmas the Holiday was never the same. My neice died at three months old on december 4th and my dad in october three years ago. It is very hard for me to celebrate, but I am trying, because the true meaning really is to keep Christ in Christmas. It is about the memorial of his birthday. Not all the presents, decorations and shopping, but peace on earth and good will toward man. Central Islip will be a part of my Christmas always! The memories were wounderful and the folks I shared them with. Some of you I still keep in touch with, Michelle Matos, Mary Tireney, Micheal Kea, Derrick Thomas, Laura Roberts, Lizette Brea, Anna Makkrow, Ralph Ruiz, etc.. To all I have not seen, Thanks for the memories. To all who signed the card, I read about Hogans Deli my bio-logical father and my brother worked there in the 60's. The poem was great. Twas the night before Christmas and all thru our Town,
Not a Musketeer was stirring, or making a sound.
The Kozy Ten Lanes had been locked up with care,
Only Fluffy the dog was still around there.
The Basketball team had long gone to bed,
With visions of a Championship that danced in their heads.
While Soccer and Football had each won their League,
Our Cheerleading Squad fought off It's fatigue.
Then out on Carleton there arose such a clatter,
Officers Tom, Pete, and Harvey sprang to see whats the matter
Back of Hogans Food Store it did appear,
were some CI Hoboes, each with a beer.
With the moon shining down on the new fallen snow,
They finished their beer and were happy to go.
Some headed north, towards Woolworths and Wards,
And some headed south to Carpluk's big wooden doors.
This could go on, cause I'm havin fun,
But I'm sure some wish I was already done.
That Basketball team won all Honors in sight,
So Merry Christmas to All & to All a Good Night.
