Connecticut Association of Schools Board of Directors
The Board with the authority to oversee and control activities of CAS, including the Connecticut Association of National Honor Societies. This Board appoints annually the executive director of CANHS.
Student Activities Board of Control:
The CAS Board authorized by the CAS Constitution to supervise all non athletic student activities which involve schools from more than two districts. The CANHS executive director is a consultant to the SABC.
CAS Principal's Committee:
A committee of CAS member school principals appointed by the CAS Board and assigned the authority to oversee the activities of CANHS. The CANHS executive director is a consultant to the CAS NHS Principal's Committee.
Delegates to the Annual Convention:
NHS students in attendance at the Annual Convention.
Adviser's Committee:
All NHS chapter advisers duly appointed by their local school systems and in attendance at the annual convention.
Advisory Board:
Six NHS chapter advisers elected at the annual convention by the Adviser's Committee. (Two year terms.) The advisers of the current president's chapter. The four student officers. (One year terms.) The executive director of CANHS.
