I had my EMG a couple weeks ago and the test shows that my CCD is in remission. I sort of thought this already since when the disease does become active I tend to lose a lot of weight.....last time I weighed 85 pounds. After the test while the neurologist was reading the results he stated to me that there were no signs of an "active disease". This made me scratch my head. I thought maybe he meant that the disease was in remission but there was a part of me thinking....."what? No CCD?". Now I know that would have been the case. I was worried for a moment that I had a quack as a new neurologist. Thankfully he's not a quack.
Now I go back later in June to discuss new pain meds and hopefully the start of the creatine therapy.
All in all....good news! |
