| We know in alot of people's eyes, Joey and Rachel will never ammount to Ross and Rachel, JR is just a pawn on RR's Chest board. - but a very cute pawn we must say! Joey comforted, supported, and cared for Rachel while she was pregnant with Emma. He became an emotional wreck with his feelings for her - no girl had ever made him feel like that, that's why we believe Rachel was Joey's first ever True Love, sure he's had love's in the past, but nothing like his love for Rachel, it wasn't about sex, and just developed into something more, it was based on friendship and trust and built into strong lustful feelings. Sure they both might be lonely, but who says you cannot find love in a person who just happens to be there? It took Joey several episodes to confess his feelings to Rachel, sadly she turned him down, but when she finally realised what was right infront of her eyes, well over a year later, Joey had still been harbouring love for her! If he was over her, he would have pushed her away, tell her she belonged with Ross, but he didn't, because he decided it was time to stop thinking about other people and concentrate on eachother. Sure there's Emma to consider, but Ben seems to manage with his parents apart, if Emma grew up, knowing "mummy" and "daddy" weren't together, she'd handle it alot better, then having to live through them divorcing. Joey would be the perfect solution for Rachel, he loves her so much, would do anything for her, granted as would Ross, but Joey comes without complications. |
