Just a few corrections: I arrived at Central in 1960 and became the head track coach in 1963. I had 8 state high school track & field championships (1 in Ft. Smith Jr. High),14 state high school cross country championships, 4 times track coach of the yea for AR, in the AR Track & Field Hall of Fame, the Natl. High School Athletic Coaches Assn. Hall of fame, Inducted into the Arkansas Sports Hall of Fame in Feb. of 2000. Great site. Enjoyed it very much. Clyde Horton

Looks like a fun reunion. In 30 years, I have never been contacted about any of the reunions. I have been signed on to classmates a while, but still knew nothing about the 2000 reunion. When I signed on classmates there were only a few class of 70 names. hen was this reunion?

I only attend the reunion on Saturday evening. It was so good see everyone, especially those who I had not seen in 30 years. I would like to have a DJ that plays "records" from our era. The country club was nice but it was a shame that the dance floor separated the tables, it seemed to create a division. Thanks for asking us to comment.

Really enjoyed the reunion, even though it was here and then gone before I could really take it all in! And there were some people I really would have loved visiting with that I never got a chance to...but there's always next time! I'm glad you're keepi g the website up...good way to keep in touch, and it can be used as a bulletin board for any kind of messages that need to be passed on. Good job all of you who put the reunion together. (just wondering...is it possible to put name captions under ALL th photos on the picture pages of the site? The Friday night function preparation was done well. Really enjoyed seeing everyone and surprised as how everyone has kept their youth. Look forward to the next celebration and will plan to attend all functions. Again, the group in charge did an exceptional job. I had a great time at the Reunion, this one was special for me. I appreciate all the recognition but there is a group of close friends we call the Reunion Committee who deserve to be recognized also. The friends I'm talking about are, Janelle Wood Coker, Jan Wright Blancett, Betty Nelson Garner, Louise Logue Logue, that's right, Logue Logue, Randy Elrod, Dana Moore Burnett,David Steele, Gail Harrison York, Kathy McDonald Keary, Sandy Love Needham, Nancy Henson Martin, Bruce Mitchell, Susie Shelton, Teresa Jones Cook, Bob Scott, Richard Hall, Lisa Medlock, Judith McLarty Courtney and Jo Neil Kirby-Hall. Our close friendship with each other has grown so in the past 10 years that we really enjoy and look forward to the meetings so we can plan the Reunions, in fact sometimes we meet just for an excuse to get together. I think the word friendship is th key to the success of these Reunions. We are ready to plan the next one right now, or at least have an excuse to meet.

As everyone else as already said, the reunion was absolutely GREAT!!!! Joe Graham, Randy Elrod, Jan Wright, and everyone on the Reunion committee did an absolutely great job!!!! The food was great, the locations perfect, the facilities more than adequat , the music was good. I hope you guys can continue to put this together every five(5) years, which is easy for me to say living outside of Arkansas in the Atlanta area. Having the reunion anywhere in the vicinity of Little Rock is great, even if it is i NLR. Even though the 30th reunion was perfect, thoughts for the 35th in 2005: 1) The first night be a "meet-greet" night for alumni only, no spouses. The second night would be a spouse event with music. 2) A brochure of some type to be distributed sh wing the known data on alumni, such as E-mail address, current address, employment, family, etc. Out-of-towners have difficulties getting to the reunions sometimes, but the Little Rock residents have no excuses at least for one(1) activity. Where was Fr nk Westmoreland, Jack Summers, Johnny Johnson, etc.???? Again, great reunion, as they always are!

To the planning committee a big THANK YOU! To those of you who were there . . . it was great seeing you all again. To those of you who missed it . . . too bad - - you missed an opportunity to renew old friendships and party with folks that you've kep in touch with anyway.
