3/01/04 - Congratulations to Centennial Jazz Ensemble for winning 3rd Place at the EIU Jazz Festival. 1st Place went to MacArthur (as usual). As for updates, an updated songlist for ensemble is finally online and hopefully some pictures will surface from the swing dance. As always, if anyone can send me some pictures, that'd be great. It's kind of hard to take pictures when you're performing...

12/12/04 - I finally got the updated schedule up and did some other stuff. I've been updating the ensemble and lab band playlists all along so make sure to check those out. If any combo members can give me a complete playlist and if any lab band members can tell me who is featured on their songs, they should contact me so I can get them on the site.
12/12/04 - Although no members made all-state in jazz, congratulations to the following jazz band members who will be traveling to the All-State festival in Peoria in January: Mark Hirschi (Band - Bari Sax); Matt Johnson (Band - Alto Sax); Caitlin McGovern (Band - Oboe); Alix Schmidt (Orchestra - Percussion); Matt Spencer (Band - Euphonium); Sebastian Stoltzfus (Orchestra - Trombone).
11/17/04 - Allright, I finally got the IMEA Jazz pictures downsized so they fit on the site. Check them out in the pictures section of the site. Sorry about the low quality of many of the pictures (especially the top band), the auditorium was crowded with people moving around so the camera had a hard time focusing. If anyone else has any pictures that turned out better, especially if they're of the top band, please contact me if you're willing to let me borrow them and get them up on the site.
11/07/04 - Congrats to District Jazz Participants (Mark Hirschi, Matt Spencer, Doug Torbeck, Joe Tortorelli, and Aaron Von Qualen) on "tremendous performances" on Saturday. I have pictures of the performances loaded on to this computer and as soon as I get them sized down so they'll conveniently fit on the site I'll post them, so keep checking back for them. Also added a page listing the past guest artists at the Centennial jazz night and their picks for influential albums to the jazz extras section of the site.
10/31/04 - Figured out new main page layout and stuff. Added ensemble playlist.
10/29/04 - Updated members and lab band playlist. I forgot my folder at school, but I'll get it sometime and get an ensemble playlist up sometime. Also added some extra stuff: essential artists and albums.
