| The Cold Night The cold wind shakes me Like a mad man shaking a Pyrethrum Brutality upon the debilitated Petals didder in momentum a vehement cough sends my bones reverberating the convulsive rage of wind sweeping the calender off the shelf rampageous creating the curtain lends hands - a savage slap as I try to close the window Vicious and ruffianly as my enemy maybe I managed to keep it out now snugged safely in bed I lay and ponder to myself when will this cold snap end? |
| Pyrethrum: spring-flowering garden perennial of Asiatic origin having finely divided aromatic leaves and white to pink-purple flowers; source of an insecticide; sometimes placed in genus Chrysanthemum. |
