One thing you have to know about me is: I am a total Lord of the Rings freak! I know certain Elvish words and phrases, and also (*whispers*) a bit of Orcish Black Speech. I was homeschooled, and the Brownwood homeschool group (Heart Of Texas Home Educators) is the best! I am in the Howard Payne Marching Band (euphonium- yuk), and I was a first trombone in the Brownwood Community Band last Spring. I also accompany the homeschool choir on piano. I was just in a play this Spring with our drama group, and we performed "The House at Pooh Corner". Guess who was Pooh... Oh bother!

In addition to playing music, I also enjoy writing it. You might call me a composer. This past Spring I got to take part in the premiere performance of my piece "The Cause of Freedom" at the Brownwood Community Band Concert. It won Texas state level in two separate contests and in one (the one where it was actually possible) it went on to get 2^nd place in the regional level. (Lost to some Louisianner... Must've been a relative.) Anyway, I've been in the High School Abilene Piano Team for three years now, and this year the Junior High team is performing another piece of mine, "The Trumpeter of La Villa". It's really cool!

I have one Dad and one Mom. Now that that novel fact has been established, their names are William and Pattie. I have two sisters, Melissa (23) and Elizabeth (16), so that makes me the middle child. Wow! I'm on a roll! J Go me! Go me!
