Phu Phing Palace
This is located on the same road further Wat Phra That Doi Sithep, on Doi Buak Ha, 22km from town. The royal winter palace was built in 1962. The lavishly landscape gardens and grounds are open to the general public on Fridays, Saturday and Sundays, and official holidays, when the Thai royal family is not in residence.
