Tribulation Saints staying in the lodge at Mount LeConte can enjoy sunrises, sunsets, and the beauty of God's creation from the 3rd highest peak in the entire park.  The park once flourished as a National Park, but following the Rapture, was shut down due to lack of funding.  The personnel working the park were let go, and it was closed.  The Native Americans who once owned the land reclaimed the portion in North Carolina, but left the Tennessee side to whomever wanted it.  It has since been assumed abandoned and unused.  No visitors come to the park as the lodges and township have all been deserted, thereby leaving it open to believers.  The lodge atop Mount LeConte can hold up to 45 people in separate cabins, as well as a 12-man lean-to with a bear-proof fence.  The lodge also houses a sizeable dining hall for home-cooked, large group meals.
