My '57 heaven project car page |
This is my project page for my '57 chevies. I started with a 4 door sedan and completed it. I then started on a 2 door hard top and am working to complete that one. |

The car originally came out of a barn in Salinas, ca. |
It had very much rust, and smoked very bad, but it ran and had all the chrome and molding |

After some new tires and rims, we made it home. But we had quite a bit of oil from underneath that needed to be cleaned before we started. |

We installed a 350 bored over .40, with a high performance cam, 650 Holley, heads ported and polished, a 350 trans with a 2000 rpm stall converter, and a posi rear end. It's really a "sleeper". |

It has a custom headliner and yellow interior. Along with new carpeting and a new soundsystem, and a new suspension, it almost rides like a new car. |
