This is my parents whom I love very much. They have been married now for fifty eight years, and in this day and age that's doing something.
Dad is retired now but that hasn't slowed him down, you'll still see him any time in his garden picking peas or watermelons, or working with his cows.
After running after six kids for so many years mom is getting a hard earned rest. She had triple by pass surgery three years ago and is doing real good.
Dad and mom are both Christians and they raised all of us kids to go to church and love the Lord. When we were growing up every night before we went to bed, we would all kneel down as a family for family prayer. I am today because of these two fine examples, I love them both dearly.

In the top left hand corner in a black suit and glasses is my brother Steve, he is a minister. Next to Steve is my sister Debbie, she owns her own insurance company, and also a trucking company. Next is the baby boy of the family Jimmy, he lives away and we don't get to see much of him. Jimmy has a job working with air and refrigeration. Next in the black and white dress is the baby of the family Hazel, her and her husband own their own trucking company. That's me in the blue suit, and next to me is the oldest of the family my brother Tommy he too is a minister.
Every year we try to get together for Thanksgiving and Christmas, when we do the old home place just rocks. |
