The top 5 Best Bonds

The top 5 Best Bonds

This is my top 5 list of best to worst Bond actors. This is not to say that certain guys are bad actors, just that they couldn't get the character down. I should point out that there were only 5 actors to ever play Bond so the mentioning of the number 5 is superfluous. Here ar ethe Bonds in order of worst to best:

(#5) George Lazenby: He played Bond in "In Her Majesty's Secret Serice". One movie, that's it. He sucked! His charm seemed so played, too english. I may be biased because of the superbness of the others but come on, Bond Married? What bastard-child-to-be-born mother finally got to him? This was not Bond, that's probably why it is never on tv.

(#4) Timothy Dalton: He played a really pissed off Bond. It makes sense since his movies featured Bond's friends getting killed, I don't mean just for this movie friends, I mean Felix of the CIA who has appeared in the Bond films since I think Octopussy. Also, in license to kill, he lost hisjob as a spy and wanted venegence. He was always pissed, no matter what. He did have his charmed moments but not enough to rank him higher.

Now we start in on the hard to figure ones. These guys were all good Bonds in their own ways.

(#3) Roger Moore: He is the one half the people I talk to like the most. He came second and had his own charming Bond moments. He is this high since his Bond was really charming, probably too charming. His fight scences were slow and he just didn't move that much but his dialogue was wicked and his charm was smooth. He just didn't make the action all that excited in my opinion. I think of him and Dalton like this: two halves of the same character, merge the two and you get #1.

(#2) Pierce Bronson: He was excellent as Bond. He had charm, action, pissed off, smooth delivery of the cheesy lines, everything. I couldn't think of anything wrong with his protrayl of Bond. Tomorrow Never Dies sucked but he was still good. His only Flaw is that he is not Connery.

(#1) Sean Connery: He is Bond!! Ian Fleming cast this truck driver as Bond the moment he walked in the auditioning room. This guy looks and sounds the way James Bond should sound. He was so good that when he quit as bond, there wasn't going to be any more (or Moore if you like). He has everything you want in a Bond. He is so cool that even as an old man he is still the coolest character in any movie he is in.

Here is my list. I know there will be comments on this one since most people will argue for Moore or Bronson. I say bring it on.
