The last Kryptonian versus the last Sayan. They both landed on Earth as babies and were taken in by the natives. They both
protect their adopted planets with all their strengths, even to the point of death. Goku usually comes back to life via
the dragonballs. This is against my rules since the dragonballs need to be collected and then the dragon appears to
grant three wishes. The need for the dragonballs to be collected is not allowed under the anti-preparation rule. The wish-granting
dragon is not allowed under the solo combatant rule. Therefore Goku is on his own and can die permanently.
I am assuming that they can travel at the same speeds, although the last time I checked Goku could teleport. There is no
Kryptonite in my arena so Superman will have to be beaten into submission or to death. Superman is much stronger but Goku is trained in martial arts.
Goku's attacks would knock Superman back but not hurt him. Superman's attacks would hurt Goku but he keeps coming back if given the chance.
Goku always beats those enemies that are more powerful than him. Superman has much more stamina than Goku. Goku's teleportation and rapid
energy attacks would keep Superman guessing, but eventually Goku would tire. Superman is much smarter than Goku too so he may find a way to trick or trap him.
This would be a cool battle to watch but in the end it would be Superman standing over Goku's body.
Update (After the very last DBZ episode): I have come back to update this battle after discussing it on the DCMB. I wanted to
wait for the last DBZ episode to make sure that I have all the info on Goku. Plus, I have been reading more JLA comics and have more of a feel
for the current Superman. I know, he is probably more powerful in his own comic but I don't read that one so I will have to go by
his appearances in JLA. The feeling I get from the DCMB is that they think Goku would win. I still think I have a good handle on
hhow powerful Goku is. What is changing my opinion is 2 things: 1)Goku became exponentially more powerful in the episodes after the battle with
Cell; 2) As I said above, I have learned more about Superman, specifically that he is not as powerful as I thought. Therefore I change
my decision to Goku. He can destroy a planet within seconds! That is crazy and is allowed. Superman can not handle that kind of power.
