Battles with characters from video games are hard because the character is neve shown doing anything other than what is in the game.
This leaves me to extrapolate what he/she is supposed to be like. I am assuming that Raiden is the archetypal god and that he is supremely
powerful and wise. But he still only allowed to use the powers we see him using in the game. Willow is as powerful as she can be, even though she renounced
her powers or whatever. Her potential is still there to be used. Willow has fought gods before, so this is an even match.
Raiden's arsenal seems lacking compared to the various spells and abilities that Willow has at her command. It may just be the game's limitations but Raiden doesn't seem
to be as powerful as Willow since he fights in a tournament with guys like Johnny Cage, whereas Willow can do things like reverse ages-old spells and turn every one into a slayer.
Despite the aforementioned skills, Willow's major battles consisted of her using telekinesis and energy projection, which are both useless against Raiden's energy form and teleportation powers.
Willow has a bunch of other spells and tricks that she could use against him, spells of containment or something that would teleport him into space or underground. Basically I assume she would find something that would work quickly since his powers are equally as useless against her.
