Matt couldn�t just say it doesn�t exist since it is standing right in front him. So he tries to disprove his worth or something by showing how evil exists and why would it let that happen. Then God would show the love of the people or something. Neither makes any headway. Then Matt said that if the people don�t believe in God then God will cease to exist. So Matt show how would get people to give up their faith or something to weaken God. Then Matt challenges God to appear to the people and says that they will not believe in it. So God comes down, appears in human form and proclaims who he is. The battle ends with God, in human form, in a straight jacket at the local insane asylum.
