I did this battle long before the guys at The Crossover Universe did it. I may have even suggested it to them, I don't remember.
I thought that John would win because he just seemed way more powerful than Neo. Neo did seem fast enough to dodge John's telekinetic attacks or a moving building.
Neo's guns would have been useless and his limited mastery of his powers didn't impress me enough to hurt this guy. It's a good thing I waited
to do this battle after I saw the sequel. Neo is way more powerful than he was in the first movie. Although he still has weaknesses,
his hand was cut by that sword. John could create a couple of buildings to crush him but Neo fast way too fast for this to work now.
He is now much physically stronger as well. I am sure that John has some kind of limit to the amount of pressure he can withstand with his force field.
Even if he tries to hide with buildings he creates around him, Neo can see the would as Matrix code and therefore could find him easily. He was even seen passing through material, since it too is just more code for him to manipulate.
He could possibly pass through the building, although we never saw him do it I believe it to be a valid assumption. What he could do for sure is stop John's heart in the same way as hbe started Trinity's.
Thus Neo has won another battle, now thanks to the sequel. My mission now is to fin someone to defeat him much kin the way I sought out someone to defeat the Borg (this mission will be harder I'm sure).
