Darrien Fawkes(The Invisible Man) vs. The Invisible Man (The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen)

The original invisible man versus the modern interpretation. Both are theives, which I think is a throwback by the creators of the character Darrien Fawkes to the H.G. Wells character. Fawkes can turn invisible through the use of a gland in his head which produces a chemical called Quicksilver, which can bend light. This quicksilver coating can be shed at will, allowin him to become visible again. If he uses the gland, however, he has a limited amount of time before the chemical causes him to go mad, a condition called Quicksilver madness. He becomes psychotic and evetually goes into a coma unless he eceives an injection. There is no such injection in the arena therefore he will have to win quickly. The Invisible man (they gave him a name in LXG but I can't remember it. By the way I am talking about the graphic novel by Moore and not the movie.) can't become visible again. He was seen wielding a knife so I'll let him have it. They never specified how he sees if he is invisible but they did so for Fawkes, he can see and be seen in UV. I believe that the Invisible man can been seen in UV as well, it only makes scientific sense. Therefore Fawkes can see him even though he is invisible but the Invisible man can't see him. The advantage is Fawkes' and he would win a fist fight anyway since probably has some training from the agency he works for.

Winner: Darrien Fawkes
