Both of these groups own massive areas of space. What if they had to fight over the same territory? This battle will have to take place in space and the land battles will take place on a generic
area of the earth, like the Arizona desert or something. The Dominion has the Founders, the Vorta, The Jem-Hadar, The Breen, and The Cardassians (let's just take them from before the
Cardassian rebellion). The Empire has many races that we have never be able to discern, but the major players of this side are the Stormtroopers. That's all we need
to think about since there are so many of them. The imperial hardware is enough to make for the lack of diversity amongst the fighters. The
AT-ATs and AT-STs will do a lot of damage to the Dominion forces. The energy weapons the Breen, Cardassians and the Jem-hadar
will use may do some damage to walkers but not enough to win. But this is if they even get a chance to land them on earth.
I think the main battle, actually the only battle if you look at it, will be in space. The Jem-hadar ships are just as fast and agile as a
TIE fighter. The Empire employs big ships like Star Destroyers that don't manoeuvre very well. They are basically just flying
fortresses. All the Dominion are like all star trek ships, they can move well enough to avoid fire from the star destroyers.
I am assuming that both shield technologies are equal. This means that the Dominion forces can't transport to the enemy ships.
So TIEs are flying around, everyone is pretty much equal in the fight, until the Death Star comes to play. This was the point where the battle became interesting.
I thought the Death Star would win the battle right away, but then I remembered something. They had to lower the shields before they could fire.
As soon as those shields go down, fighters from every Dominion ship could be sent to the Death Star. Even the ship that the Death Star is targetting
would have enough time to transport to the base. The battle then moves from space to the invasion of the base. Stormtoopers suck
so the Dominion forces would take the Death Star easily. There are other factors to consider if this is not convincing enough. The Dominion's
sensors could pick up the exhaust port weakness of the Death Star and just send a torpedo in there either by transporting when the shields are down
or sending a ship. If the Dominion forces lose the invasion of the Death Star, the Founders who also came over will stay behind to finish the job by assuming
the shape of an imperial officer. Then there is that cool weapon of the Breen's that took out the Defiant. This energy sucking
weapon would work on the Death Star. Overall I don't see how the Empire would win.
