The following poems/thoughts deal with different things such as love, life, and loss.
Now I wander the world,
free from the sins of my past.
I go from place to place,
never fearing anymore.
For the one I love found the key
and unlocked the door to my heart.
Wandering
I see you wandering from here to there,
always wandering, never finding.
What could you be looking for?
When you find it, can you tell me?
For I too have been wandering.
Power of the Heart
I see you standing there,
like you just don't care.
I see you all alone dear,
like you cannot hear.
When I talk to you, do you see,
what exactly it is you do to me?
What can I do to make you understand,
that we should be walking hand in hand?
I see you standing there,
like you just don't care.
I see you all alone dear,
like you cannot hear.
My love for you is always forever,
I don't see why we can't be together.
Body Rotten
I see you laying there,
I know you're rotten to the core.
Your eyes are dull and lifeless,
Your body shrunken to the bone.
All you did was give me pain and strife.
So why am I standing here praying for your life?
Life, Love, Loss
Love's an endless game,
Life's a mindless maze.
When you lose all love,
You will lose all life.
Power of the People
Damn the man,
fight the power,
Rock the vote,
make it count.
Don't give up now,
you need to fight.
Hidden
Look deep inside yourself and what do you see?
You see confusion and sadness, pain and suffering hidden away.
The longer you run, the closer I get to finding out the reason you hide.
One day at a time, I get closer to the truth.
Pest
Your down right infectious,
brought upon me like a disease.
My skin is festering
as you dig deep under.
I try to burn you off
but you keep coming back.
Your like a damn parasite
that just won't die.
I sever the ties
that kept us together.
The knife is sharp
as I cut you off.
Then I walk away,
leaving you to die.
Roar of the Crowd
Leering, jeering, cheering,
the crowd goes wild.
Can't you just feel the
excitement polluting the air?
Emotions over run and
sweat out your body.
You scream and shout,
trying to make your voice be heard.
But in the end you just spent your money
on something you could have watched on TV.
Now That You're Gone
Now that you're gone, I'm free.
Free to go back to the way my life used to be.
My head is clouded no more, my vision no longer blurry.
I'm finally able to think on my own.
Back in control of my life, you can't hurt me anymore.
Body Electric
Music pumpin', don't stop jumpin',
Don't stop now, get on the dance floor.
Body movin', don't stop groovin',
Get up, get up, get on the dance floor.
Heart's a poundin', how's that soundin',
Move your body, get on the dance floor.
The Rose
One prick, two pricks,
blood flows from the nick.
I still hold the flower,
that held all that power.
Beauty surrounds it,
but who does it benefit?
Stage of Life
Enter stage left,
walk over to table.
Stimulate conversation,
fight inside with demons.
Eat nutritional meal,
crave junk food instead.
Slowly lose interest in going's on around you,
dream about a greater moment in time.
When meal is done,
exit stage right.
Blink
I saw you once and then you were gone.
I blinked and you disappeared from my sight.
You were there but for a moment,
and your face will be an imprint on my mind forever.
But for one moment you were mine and only mine.
We As One
Oh, cold and cruel world,
will you be mine?
Oh, fey and fickle world,
will you be mine?
Oh, bruised and battered world,
will you be mine?
We as one could share these traits,
alone us two could stand.
We as one could fight the fight,
and one day win the battle.
For we as one could conquer anything.
