Christian Bale
First movie I ever saw him in was Newsies. After that I had to see every movie he has been in. So far I have been unsuccessful, I haven't seen Velvet Goldmine. Christian is a great actor that usually doesn't get recognized. I do remember reading though that he won some child's award for his work in Empire of the Sun.
Best Bets: Empire of the Sun, Newsies, American Psycho, Treasure Island, Little Women, Henry V, The Secret Agent
Cate Blanchett
Cate is great and I still feel that she got screwed over at the Oscars. There is no way that Gwenyth Paltrow was better in Shakespeare in Love, than Cate was in Elizabeth. Cate was the Virgin Queen. She was so good in that movie.
Best Bets: Elizabeth, The Gift, Oscar & Lucinda, Pushing Tin, Lord of the Rings
Steve Buscemi
Steve is one of the greatest character actors around. The first movie I ever saw him in was Ed and His Dead Mother, which was weird. Then I saw him in Fargo, where he was great. Then it was on to Con Air, where his parts were my favorite.
Best Bets: Fargo, Final Fantasy: The Spirit Within, Con Air, Ghost World
Russell Crowe
First movie I ever saw him in was L.A. Confidental, and he's great in that movie. Then I saw him in The Insider, which he should have gotten an Oscar for. But he finally got his Oscar for Gladiator, which I love.
Best Bets: L.A. Confidential, The Insider, Proof Of Life, Gladiator, A Beautiful Mind
Vin Diesel
Vin hasn't been in too many movies, but when he is he commands screen presence. He carries all of Pitch Black with his eyes and glasses. He rules The Fast and the Furious with his car.
Best Bets: Pitch Black, Saving Private Ryan, Boiler Room, The Fast and the Furious
Morgan Freeman
Morgan has a quiet intensity about him that I like. The Shawshank Redemption wouldn't be the same without him.
Best Bets: The Shawshank Redemtion, Kiss the Girls, Glory, Seven, Power of One
Christopher Guest
If you go to the movie section, you will see how much I love Christopher. He is another great character actor. Each movie I see him in he looks and sounds completely different.
Best Bets: This is Spinal Tap, Waiting For Guffman, Best In Show
Tom Hanks
I love me some Tom Hanks, but surprisingly I hated Forest Gump, and I think I was one of a few. Check him out in Philadelphia, which was his other Oscar winning role.
Best Bets: Philadelphia, Saving Private Ryan, Cast Away, Apollo 13, The Green Mile
Sean Hayes
Now the only movie I have seen Sean in was Billy's Hollywood Screen Kiss. So he goes on this page for his fine work on Will & Grace. "Just Jack" says it all
Best Bets: Billy's Hollywood Screen Kiss, Will & Grace
Olivia Newton-John
Hello, she was Sandy in Grease! She was also in another great musical of the 80s,Xanadu.
Best Bets: Grease, Xanadu
Michelle Pfeiffer
She could have made it on here simply for the fact that she sang "Cool Rider" in Grease II. But she gets on here for her turn in What Lies Beneath, too.
Best Bets: Grease II, What Lies Beneath
Keven Spacey
Everyone must see The Usual Suspects, just for Keven alone. He didn't win that Oscar for nothing. Surprisingly I hated him in American Beauty.
Best Bets: Swimming With Sharks, The Usual Suspects, American Beauty, L.A. Confidential, The Negotiator, Seven
Denzel Washington
Check out Denzel at his best in Malcolm X. Then hit him up in Philadelphia. You won't be disappointed
Best Bets: Philadelphia, Glory, Malcolm X
