CMCA statement of faith
We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative, inerrant Word of God. (2 Peter 1:25;       2 Timothy 3:15)

We beleive there is one God, eternally existent in three persons - Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Genesis 1:1; Matthew 28:19; John 10:30

We believe in the diety of Christ (John 10:33); His virgin birth (Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:23; Luke 1:35). His sinlless life (Hebrews 4:15, 7:26); His miracles (John 2:11); His vicarious and atoning death (1 Corinthians 15:3; Ephesians 1:7; Hebrews 2:9); His resurrection (John 11:25; 1 Corinthians15:4); His ascention to the right hand of the Father ( Mark 16:9); His personal return in power and glory (Acts 1:11; Revelations 19:11).

We believe in the absolute necessity of regeneration by the Holy Spirit because of the exceeding sinfulness of human nature; and that men are justified on the single ground of faith in the shed blood of Christ and that only by God's grace and through faith alone we are saved. (John 3:16 - John 5:24; Romans 3:23; 5:8-9; Ephesians 2:8-10; Titus 3:5).

We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life, and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation. (John 5:28-29).

We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ (Romans 8:9; 1 Corinthians 12:12-13; Galatians 3:26-28).

We believe in the Holy Spirit and His indwelling each believer, enabling the believer to live a godly life; that the Christian's good works is the evidence of his sincere relationship to God, in Christ, as inspired by the Holy Spirit to be an example to the world. (Romans 8:13-15; 1 Corinthians 3:16; 6:19-20; Ephesians 4:30; 5:18).

We believe in the Bible being the final authority in all matters of doctrine and deed, and that the standards for morality and behavior must come from God, rather than from an unbelieving world. (Ephesians 4:17-20) From this belief come the following convictions:

1. To teach students Biblical views on dating, marriage, and family, that except for those who have been given God's gift of singleness, it is God's desire for young people todate in purity and chastity, maintaining abstinence until after marriage, and that marriage is to be lived out as a symbol of the spiritual relationship between Christ and his church. (1 Thessalonians 4:1-7; 1 Timothy 4:12; Ephesians 5:22-33).

2. To teach students that God sets standards for thought life because thoughts may lead to actions, and to employ critical thinking based on Biblical criteria for evaluation of music, artwork, fashions, literature, and media visual/audio entertainment; how each impacts a thought life that can either build up or hinder a closer relationship with God and growth as a Christian. (2 Corinthians 10:4,5; Ephesians 4:17; Philippians 4:8).
