In response to several questions on the MWR Message Board, Sharon posted the following:
The temperature of the Pettit Center will be warmer this year than last year. We were not aware last year that the temperature could be made warmer. Last year, we were told ways that we could increase temperature AFTER both feisanna were finished.
Any profit from the Celtic Spirit Feis will be split between the organizations that the volunteers are representing. Since Kinsella was unable to hold the Cream City Feis this year, we were looking for a way to keep the back to back feis weekend. We are contacting different organizations to see if they have an interest in providing volunteers for the feis.
Since there is no organization that this feis is supporting, we decided to offer a share of the profit to each organization providing volunteers. All the profits will go to non-profit organizations, and the dancers will be able to compete at back to back feisanna that weekend.
