Meet Keelah!!!
We got Keelah to be a companion to Stitch. Keelah is short for Tequila His nickname is Keelah Monster Unfortunately he plays more rough than Stitch likes, so they live seperately, but play together outside the cage where Stitch can hide when it gets too rough. Keelah is much more aggressive than Stitch. He will bite strangers and hurt them. He used be just like Stitch when he was young, but when he was about 5 months old, he got trapped in a rolled up tube of linoleum that was stood on its end and leaning on a bench. It took a whole day to find him there, and when we did he was terrified. Mink don't do well in confined spaces for prolonged periods, and now he's a little crazy. Keelah is good with me, ok with my son, and that's about it. That's after months of hard work and patience. he wil let us pet him but not pick him up. He may let us cuddle him again someday, but at least we can live with him as he is.

HOME
Sadly, my beautiful Keelah-boy has passed away. I had used a c-clamp to hold his litterbox down so he couldn't dump it, and he wedged himself behind it and was stuck. When I got home from work, we found him there. He died from the fright of being trapped again, he had never fully gotten over the first incident. We miss his lovely boy very much, but do not have plans of getting a new baby anytime soon.
