That night in the woods
Your breath smelled of mint
You knew that I just loved that scent
I will never forget the words that you said
Or how my heart fluttered
With the want and the dread
Before I knew what was happening
You had me surrounded
With passion and yearning
The very next day
You wouldn't even look at me
You said it just wasn't the same
I gave you everything
In return you pushed me aside
Now I've forgiven you and moved on
It just isn't the same now that your gone
But I know in my heart that you are still here
You will never be far from me
and that night in the woods
