Ancestors
Being where my ancestors lived
Makes me so proud
The trees rustle quietly all around
A stream runs by so swift and calm
But I know I can't stay here for very long
My ancestors would be ashamed
Of how I live today
Like the people of my time
I want to get away from this day
And go back with my ancestors
Away from the noise of cities
to the quiet rustle of the prairie
I need to be with my ancestors
And learn everything they can teach me
