Overwhelmed

The only light was a small lamp in the corner of the room besides the bed.It glowed over the wall in a way that made it look like candlelight.

Their laughter faded off as they both continued grinning at each other. Their faces were so close that the tips of their noses touched and they could easily see the flecks of gold in their eyes.

Lipgloss gleamed, hearts beat.

The only sound was of exhaled breaths hitting soft skin. Peppermint.

Eyes danced across facial deatures, memorizing, savouring. Beauty faced beauty. Infauation flowed through boodly viens.

She felt sick, but it was a sickness that was so pleasurable and felt so deep and good that she felt weighted down, like that tears that were behind her eyes were held back by a dam. The pressure built greater as her throat closed tight.

Lips parted, captured. Tongues caressed, tasted. Her stomach twistedm thighs shook,, her pulse beat hard so that the sound blocked out anything else. They beat under her knee's, elbows, just under her chin at her neck. Her chest felt heavy, her somach grumbled, wanting more.

His hand firmly held her cheek, his thumb caressed just beside her nose, causing her senses to liquify. She melted, like hot wax as his arm wound tight around her back and eased her down so they were horizontal on the couch.

She felt his hand slip under her shirt to feel the tingle of flesh against flesh. She swore her heart skipped a beat.

Her breath quickened, her stomach shivered, her hands were clamy. She felt lightheaded and didn't resist the sudden agression in his lips as they opened and closed over hers, as his head tilted to a different angle to taste deeper. Her breath was fast and she brought her hand up to ease her fingers between their lips so she could inch away and get a needed gulp of air in her lungs. She watched his eyes and saw them darken with want as he observed her quick breaths and droopy aroused eyes.

~

She woke up...with no trace of pleasure, but of loneliness and of the knowledge that she had never and will never taste and feel like that with someone she loved...

Ever.
