I've put off posting any thoughts about the finale here. And I'm still deciding not to really go into it. I posted some thoughts, both good and bad on my LJ, but that was so I could work through it. Sometimes I need to vocalize things to reach satisfaction and I finally have.

The series had a great run and I look forward to the movies. And while we have no more weekly canon to play with, I don't plan on leaving the fandom just like many of SG-1's fans. My contributions to forums and lists and my own meta will decrease, but I like SG-1 and I'm comfortable using it as a hobby. So in between my original fic projects, I'll keep writing even if people leave the fandom.

So, whether you're one of those staying or leaving, I want to thank you for the support you've given me over the years. And I want to again thank you for reading and enjoying (and maybe not enjoying) the stories I've produced. If you're staying, then I should have more icons and stories posted soon. if you're leaving, I wish you the very best in whatever new fandoms you might find :)
