In 1998, while on vacation in San Diego, I sparred with Terry Houlihan in Los Angeles. We first met through the Bay Area Boxing Club in 1993 during a gay and lesbian boxing tournament held in San Francisco. I never got the chance to spar with him, so I took the opportunity to come up to LA to try to kick his ass. We boxed 8 rounds in the warehouse ring in Hollywood. It's one of the toughest, best fights I've ever had and Terry is one of the nicest, most decent (and hottest) boxers I've tangled with. He now runs a gym in Hollywood called Boxing on the Boulevard.
