| I walked to the village of Avoca where I was born. The place seemed stagnant a far cry from the evening that I had experienced earlier. I couldnt take the image of Acar from my mind. As I sat on the beach looking into the still calm sea I could see her reflection I couldnt think of anything else. Even the loud cries of the seagulls and the passing of fishing boats could not distract me from thinking about her. Sargatanas words kept circling through my mind. Why would I never see her during the day? It crossed my mind that she maybe kept there against her will but she was too calm and happy for that. I should have been alarmed at his words but instead I was drawn to them. Dusk came as quick as the dawn, I rose to my feet and headed to the make shift village that I had visited the night before. The crowd had gathered but they were incidental to what I wanted. All I could think about was seeing Acar and finding out the answer to what Sargatanas had said. Greetings Dane I turned to see Acar Sorry I didnt see you before you left last night she apologised. She took me to her caravan were we stood lost in each others eyes. Sargatanas told me that I could only see you during the night what did he mean? Dane you dont understand you will never understand I leaned towards her to kiss her. Just before our lips touched I paused, my heart was pounding, my pulse racing. She held me close, we spent most of the night together making love and talking. what is it that I wouldnt understand please tell me? |
